Deadline for applying for preparation for assessment for Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Status

The deadline for applications for the next round of preparation for assessment for Higher Level Teaching Assistant status is 2 February 2023

We would like to remind schools that this is not a training programme, but an online preparation workshop leading to a half day school based remote assessment.

The Spring term dates are:

16 March 2023

Day Four (online)

28 March PM or 31 March AM TBC

Submit work by: 11 May 2023

Assessment window: 18 May – 22 June 2023

Cost  The cost of gaining HLTA status is £840

  • £390 for the three-day courses (£325 for schools with an HTLC subscription)
  • £450 for the assessment​

The full amount will be charged to schools on completion of session 1.
