The familiarisation day offers a full day programme to introduce you to headship in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The morning will include presentations by Safeguarding, Inclusion and Tackling Educational Disadvantage leads, as well as the Assistant Director, Education and Inclusion. During the afternoon, our HIAS School Improvement Managers will deliver sessions on leadership and wellbeing. There will also be time during the day to network and collaborate with other colleagues.

New headteacher webinar programme
We offer a comprehensive programme of ten webinars over the academic year. These half termly twilight sessions provide an overview of the key Hampshire services accessible to schools, as well as the subject support available from our experienced team of advisers.

There will be opportunities for delegates to reflect and strategically plan away from their schools as well as meeting key contacts within the Education and Inclusion team.
